Stormwater Detention

CSO Engineers & Architects

May 01, 2003

A portion of this stormwater storage was provided in the porous backfill of #78 stone, wrapped in non-woven geotextile, the stored water being given access to the porous backfill by perforations in the steel pipe.

The increased safety from less open bodies of water, decreased liability costs, reduced maintenance costs, preservation of usable land value, value engineered construction costs, ability to expand on existing land and reduction of biological/microbial vector diseases are all good reasons to consider underground stormwater detention by Contech for your next site development project.
