Residents of Bath Township desired a pedestrian underpass for access into the Bath Nature Preserve. The multi-use North Fork Trail provides public access to various areas of the park, while also protecting sensitive and unique habitats. This trail was built in the summer of 2003 in staged construction due to heavy traffic on Cleveland- Massillon Road.

The aesthetic formliner was required to match the park setting. This CON/SPAN ® structure was built on 3-foot high pedestal walls in conjunction with the 11-foot rise to produce a multi-use trail designed to accommodate activities such as hiking, biking and future equestrian use.
