DuroMaxx® SRPE provides the lightweight, low-cost durability advantages of traditional HDPE with none of the disadvantages. The built-in structural capacity of the steel reinforced ribs ensures the pipe will not creep or buckle. DuroMaxx can be twice as stiff as non-steel reinforced HDPE pipe, as it is more resistant to the effect of temperature and sunlight.
DuroMaxx can be made watertight, and can be used in applications with corrosive soils or abrasive flows. DuroMaxx’s smooth interior provides a pipe that is hydraulically efficient capable of Manning’s “n” values of 0.011 to 0.013 and allows for minimum slope designs and longer runs.
DuroMaxx is available in diameters ranging from 30” – 120” and manufactured in standard lengths of 14’ or 24’. Larger diameter pipe increases storage volume while long pipe sections reduce the number of units to be set and joints to assemble.
