ULTRA-COR® has an impressive 20” x 9.5” ultra-large corrugation profile that allows it to reach greater spans and withstand the heaviest of loads. ULTRA-COR plate structures are able to reach clear spans of up to 115′, wide enough for six lanes of traffic plus two active transportation lanes.

BENEFITS OF ULTRA-COR® SYSTEMS:

  • Buried Bridge Structure - Reduces maintenance costs and lowers life cycle costs as there are no bridge deck or joints at the deck/roadway interface
  • Modular Bridge System - Rapid installation results in reduced overall project costs, delays and detours
  • Easy Site Adaptability - Flexible layout options to fit within the right-of-way – curve the structure with a stream or adjust for vertical and horizontal clearance requirements
  • Spans of up to 115'
  • Onsite assembly with fewer bolts

Structural Plate for Rehabilitating Bridges

Bridges can be relined by erecting our plate structures inside existing structures. Or, the new plate structure can be erected outside and threaded into existing openings. Our Plate Structures, including Two-Flange Liner Plate, are delivered to the job site unassembled. The plates and ribs are easily bolted together to form various shapes: round, vertical and horizontal ellipse, pipe-arch, underpass and arch.

Structural Plate for Mining Portals, Rail Tunnels and Conveyor Enclosures

Our durable Structural Plate can meet heavy duty demands for industrial or mining applications. MULTI-PLATE round arch shapes are the most widely used structures for aggregate tunnels. Special features such as hopper openings, conveyor supports, bulkheads, escape laterals and elbows to accommodate grade changes and alignment are readily integrated. Plate structures can also be utilized to extend and improve mine entrances, providing protection from falling rocks and debris.
