Technical Description:
When Siena Development planned for The Annecy, a classic condominium community, it called for landscaped ponds that would also serve as irrigation reservoirs. Siena’s landscape designers chose to enhance the resident’s lakeside experience with attractive walkways, fishing piers and inviting pavilions complete with canopies.
Siena Development contacted Contech with their idea of creating “great looking” bridges to complement the community’s resort-like atmosphere. Utilizing the customer’s conceptual drawings, Contech Engineered Solutions worked closely with Siena’s team to develop a design that was both aesthetically pleasing and economical to build.
In total, six Continental® walkways and fishing piers along with two over-the-water pavilions, ranging in size from 13’ x 18’ to 25’ square were provided. The structures were pre-painted and delivered to the site with lpe hardwood decking installed. Installation was handled by JCF Bridge & Concrete of Austin, TX.
