Nestled along the shores of the Gulf of Mexico and the scenic Highway 30-A in Panama City Beach, Florida, WaterSound Beach has earned national recognition for preserving the natural beauty of its surrounding environment and offering residents and vacationers all the comforts of casual, beach-style living.

WaterSound Beach was conceived as a residential community that would exist harmoniously with its surrounding environment. The owner wanted the development to be structured so that no matter which pathway or roadway residents and visitors chose, they could always reach the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. To connect these paths, the company needed pedestrian and vehicular bridges that would complement the vast array of landscaped parks, green spaces and wooden boardwalks, yet not obstruct the protected wetlands and conservation areas that naturally accent the development’s four neighborhoods.

This 100’ x 6’ Continental® pedestrian truss bridge was painted with a wood deck and took only three days to install. The Link® style bridge carries pedestrians over a waterway that separated them from a residential complex.
