Clark County Water Reclamation District needed to construct new facilities for the Moapa Valley Collection System.

Approximately 21,100 LF of sanitary sewer was installed in multiple diameters for this project, as well as 54 manholes in various diameters. Other elements of the project included the connection of existing sewers to new sewers, the relocation of existing utilities, abandoning irrigation facilities, pavement replacement, traffic control, service laterals and all necessary appurtenances.

Taking advantage of the latest in sanitary sewer pipe technology, the project utilized A-2000 PVC pipe from Contech. With an impressive record of field-proven performance, A-2000 combines the leading edge of technology and engineering design with time-proven materials and construction practices. A-2000’s superior strength, joint tightness and cost-effectiveness made it the right solution for the Clark County Water Reclamation District.
