Technical Description:
This project is one of two stone-faced bridges that replaced deteriorating timber bridges on Homestead Golf Course in Tipp City, Ohio. The family-owned 125-acre course had its beginnings in 1965 when owner Val Knife built the first nine holes on a 60-acre farm. Seven years later, the second nine were added.
Homestead Superintendant Dave Knife comments, “We were interested in concrete arches, and CON/SPAN® provided the ideal solution for our bridge needs. Once we contacted Contech Construction Products Inc., we looked no further”
