The Jellyfish Filter is an engineered Stormwater quality treatment technology featuring pretreatment and membrane filtration in a compact stand-alone treatment system, which removes a high level and wide variety of Stormwater pollutants.

What is the Jellyfish Filter?

The Jellyfish Filter is an engineered Stormwater quality treatment technology featuring pretreatment and membrane filtration at high flow rates, while delivering high level performance and treatment longevity.  Jellyfish units are compact stand-alone treatment systems that are available in multiple standard configurations as well as project specific custom configurations.

 

Pretreatment

  • Maintenance access wall and separation skirt trap floatables, trash, oil, and debris, prior to stormwater entering the filtration zone.

  • Sand sized and larger particles settle below the filter zone in the collection sump.

Filtration

  • Pleated membrane, high treatment surface area, tentacles provide effective removal of fine sand and silt sized particles.

  • Removes high percentages of particulate bound pollutants; including nutrients, metals, and hydrocarbons.

  • 80 gpm (5L/s) treatment flow rate per cartridge with 18” upstream driving head.

  • High surface area membranes extend performance and treatment longevity.

Extended Filter Life

  • Post peak storm event, filtered water back washes membrane tentacles.

  • Continuous gravity removal of sediment from tentacles.

  • Long maintenance frequency periods.
