Earth Month 2016

As an environmentally-conscious company, employees at Contech Engineered Solutions have turned Earth Day into a full month of celebration through community-based service projects. The 2016 projects were a huge success, and we are proud that our employees in our regional offices and the Ohio corporate office volunteered for nearly 15 different community service projects!

This is the sixth year Contech leadership has encouraged our employees to become involved in local cleanup and beautification service projects and provided paid time off for their participation.

Projects were hosted in local communities all across the country to benefit numerous local schools, area non-profits, parks, cities and more.

Irving, TX – Tree Farm Planting

After two months of rains and flooding, the Contech Irving Office was able to complete their volunteer tree planting project for Keep Irving Beautiful (KIB). KIB is a non-profit, grassroots leadership organization that is dedicated to educating the local community about litter abatement, recycling, and beautification in the City of Irving. While the project was originally scheduled for May 4 & 5, the Contech Customer Solutions Coordinator (CSC) and Sales team were able to split the work over a two day period at the end of June and plant about 130 trees. Working in over 90+ degree weather made it a little sticky, but when all was said KIB was very happy with the restoration!
