Stormwater Infiltration

On sites where soils drain well and the water table is low enough, a stormwater infiltration system may be the most economical means for managing runoff. Unlike detention systems, which typically discharge runoff from a single outlet pipe, infiltration systems allow accumulated runoff water to percolate into the subsoil. Water quality is usually improved through the soil’s natural filtering ability. Infiltration systems can also minimize water table reductions. Infiltration is a key feature of low impact development (LID) designs. We offer a multiple types of systems for all your infiltration needs. CMP Subsurface Infiltration Systems

CMP InfiltrationCMP and pipe arch is available fully or partially perforated to meet your Low Impact Development (LID) requirements. Standard pipe-wall perforations provide approximately 2.5% open area. CMP infiltration systems retain runoff in the pipe and surrounding stone until it can be slowly released into the surrounding native soil.

ChamberMaxx for Subsurface Infiltration

ChamberMaxx for Subsurface InfiltrationAn open bottom plastic chamber the ChamberMaxx allows infiltration into surrounding soils, effectively achieving runoff reduction objectives often required by in an LID (low impact development) design. Maximize available land for development by installing a belowground system while still significantly reducing the volume of stormwater runoff.

Infiltration StormFilter for Subsurface Infiltration and Treatment

Infiltration StormFilterMeet LID requirements and reduce or eliminate runoff with an underground infiltration system, plus provide treatment in the same structure with the Infiltration StormFilter. Small footprint make it ideal for tight sites or sites with crowded utilities. Easily adapts to multiple drainage areas for a modular design.

Porous Pavers for Fire Lanes and Access Roads

UrbanGreen Grass and Gravel Paver LID DesignUse the UrbanGreen Grass Pavers to provide H-20 access roads without adding impervious surface to your development. They can be utilized on fire lanes, access roads and maintenance roads that see limited use. Meet H-20 loading with lower cost per square foot.

DuroMaxx for Stormwater Infiltration

DuroMaxx InfiltrationDuroMaxx is available fully perforated so it can be used in subsurface infiltration application.  Installed underground, you can maximize land available for development or retain green area in a low impact development (LID) design. Make biorention practical for sites with marginal soils by installing perforated DuroMaxx below bioretention cells. Allows you to reduce the footprint and depth.

Precast Systems for Stormwater Infiltration

Con/Storm with Strip FootingsOur CON/SPAN and CON/STORM concrete stormwater detention solutions can be installed on strip footings to allow water to percolate into the soil for infiltration applications.
