Outstanding Customer Service Provides for a Speedy and Successful Railroad Culvert Replacement
Congratulations to the entire Indiana team on excellent customer service for turning around an emergency railroad culvert replacement project in just 4 days in New Trenton, Indiana.
Osmose Railroad Services, Inc. needed a solution by the following Friday to restore the washed out culvert beneath the Indiana & Ohio Railway Company C399 Brookville railroad line. Scott Foy dropped everything to immediately drive across the state to meet with Osmose on Monday afternoon to present possible emergency culvert replacement solutions. CMP was chosen for the solution.
The Mitchell plant manufactured the pipe within 24 hours. This included the time it took to change over the machine – an extremely fast turnaround! 80 linear feet of 12 foot diameter, 10 gage galvanized CMP was ready to ship on Wednesday and was delivered to the site Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. The pipe was installed on Friday morning and trains were running on the railroad by the weekend.
