Franklin County, Pennsylvania - The Washington Township Boulevard Bridge was a key link in the construction of a bypass around Waynesboro to relieve traffic congestion. A triple cell, 152 ft span CON/SPAN® Bridge System effectively cleared the stream with minimal impact on the surrounding environment and provided sufficient hydraulic capacity. In addition, this structure was the recipient of a design award from the Association of Bridge Construction and Design (ABCD).

The MN Dept. of Natural Resources chose an Aluminum Box Culvert for its low cost and speed of installation. In just 1.5 weeks, the original structure was demolished and the new structure was assembled, installed and backfilled.

NuStar Energy chose to utilize three Aluminum Box Culverts because they were open bottom structures that could be easily lifted into place over the existing pipes.
