Peace Dale Stone Arch Rehabilitation
Kingstown, Rhode Island - Rain storms caused severe undermining to the deteriorating Peace Dale stone arch bridge that was already scheduled for full rehabilitation, and an emergency replacement structure was needed to provide motorists with safe passage. RI DOT chose a 21'-10" x 5'-8" x 32' Aluminum Box Culvert for its ability to be erected within the existing stone arch in just one week.
